Im a bit off your quizes, Brian, after using a nugget from this blog ("Facetious" is the only word to contain the 5 vowells in order") as my trump card in a quiz today.
Suffice to say it is the only word fitting that description. Apart from about 20 others.

Ah yes, I remember the 'facetious' debacle. Apologies. And, sadly, press-box research is now suggesting that this latest question is similarly flawed.
