Delayed until tomorrow
Another fierce downpour, as violent as the ones which wrecked trawlers and bashed the coast off Fair Isle in August 1897, has just soaked the ground again and play has been abandoned for the day.

The season is slip sliding away with the weather. So few Sunday oneday games was bad enough but infact its now so little cricket at all. "Cricket on the cheap as CP would say" - well thats unless you want an Ashes ticket or consider cost of membership divided by games attended.
Every cloud has a silver lineing - we are still undefeated in the championship and all the online tickets in the members areas for the Ashes have nearly gone ....... our glasses are half full already :-)
