Delay - probably a long one.
It is raining heavily, the ground is already very wet from overnight rain, there is officially no play before lunch and the prospects of any cricket today look remote in the extreme.

Its pouring down here at Kings Heath, shame we are hosting a County under 17 match today and tomorrow.
I thought Daggett would be suitable for Worcester to be honest. Lets all keep our fingers crossed for him.
Regarding KD I found the following on cricket info -
David Smith was a right-hand top-order batsman who played regularly for Warwickshire between 1973 and 1985, passing 1000 runs four times. His best season was in 1980 when he made 1582 runs at 36.79 with two hundreds and 12 fifties. Oddly, as his first-class form slowly declined he became more proficient in the one-day game, and in his final season when he lost his place in the Championship side when two 11 year old boys were moving behind the bowlers in celebration as one had just dismissed the other in a game of Howzat. KD roared at the youngsters “sit you little sh**s, KD was dismissed next ball when he played all around a straight one. He played one Youth Test, top scoring against West Indies with 41 in 1974. After retiring he was on the Warwickshire committee for nine years before becoming increasingly involved with Leicestershire, taking over as their chief executive in January 2008.
Whilst it rains, I see Members area Ashes tickets are on sale on Ebay already. The Bears web site has sold out. The £ 65 members pass to see 71% of the season has been put to good use. CP's Touts charter?

Anybody who talks to young children who are just happily playing a game in such a fashion should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.
