Troughton 19 from 45 balls - and still motoring

By Brian Halford on July 1, 2008 3:21 PM |

Warwickshire 381 for 3 (102 overs). Trott 105, Troughton 19.

Trott has reached an untroubled century from 175 balls with 15 fours. Troughton lashed Wigley high over extra cover for four to move to a brilliant 18. A masterpiece in the making, methinks.

Gloucestershire look a bit like Richard Gasquet in the final set last night. (Though what a truly magnificent sporting gesture it was from Gasquet to applaud the crowd, who had been baying for his defeat, as he left the court).

Just back from Edgbaston - we need to race to 500 Asap and hope the weather is kind tomorrow and we take wickets. Easy really ;-)

The key thing is to remember 2004 - dont loose games.

Well done Bell and Trott !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I heard there was one person not very far from you who wasn't exactly baying for Gasquet's defeat Mr H?.......

Aye - we're now both big fans of Gasquet. Feel like we know him so well...
