Anyon back with a bang

Leicestershire 0 for 1 (1 over). Dippenaar 0, Nixon 0.

Anyon, recalled to the team in the light of Woakes' absence with England U19s and Martin's hamstring injury, strikes with the third ball of the match, an in-ducker which traps left-hander Boyce plum lbw.

Bill Maynard isn't from Leicester. He was born in Surrey and now lives at Sapcote. I think he did present a programme on BBC Leicester though.

Oh and a big match for some of us. For those from North east warwickshire this is a bigger rivalry than Worcestershite.

Fair play, Jon, though I think I recall from Bill's autobiography that he attended school in Leicester so he must have moved there quite young.
Also (from the same tome) he lost his virginity in the back of a van in South Wigston - a claim few can make!
