Great stuff from Carter, even enjoyed by the Northants fans. Just a shame, in a way, that it wasn't more of a match because this is a lovely venue and the sunlit crowd up on the grass bank was all ready to generate a cracking atmosphere if it had turned out to be any sort of a contest.
