Glos - chin of glass?

By Brian Halford on Jun 30, 08 12:11 PM

Gloucestershire 245 for 5 (76 overs). Snell 0, Gidman 1.

Another bonus for the Bears. Carter again drops short and, remarkably, Taylor emulates Marshall and pulls the ball straight to Botha at mid-wicket.

Taylor out for 26 and two new batsmen, including Warwickshire target Gidman, at the crease. Gidman, of course, bagged a pair against the Bears at Gloucester last month, but avoided any potential repetition of that here by tucking Carter to deep square for a debonair single.

I dont think we should sign Gidman. I worry we see him as an allrounder - but his bowling doesnt qualify him.

Im sulking about Sales as well.

Gidman? When did he leave the Villa? And anyway we don't need a right-back.
