Trott has come on from the Pavilion End. Warwickshire's seamers have done well to restrict the scoring and Tahir and Anyon forced some false shots. Smith on 16 was dropped (a difficult chance) by Troughton at third slip off Anyon.
But the batsmen are playing with a patience which suggests they feel if they get through the new ball they can then fill their boots.
Zondeki has damaged a groin and will have a scan on it this afternoon. Recently centrally contracted by South Africa, it must be a strong possibility that he won't bowl for Warwickshire again. It appears the pre-play warm-up routines failed on this occasion

So I suppose you could argue that Monde has gone with a wimple, not with a bang?
It's clearly all that rugby in the warm-ups and warm-downs that is the root of the problem. I suggest a few hands of bridge instead.
