Three chiff-chaffs, two peacocks and a seed warbler

By Brian Halford on May 7, 08 01:05 PM

Lunch. Derbyshire 75 for 3 (31 overs). Felo 12, Clarke 8.

Anyon had Sadler well-caught by Bell at slip and it has been a very good morning's work by Warwickshire. Zondeki applied sustained early pressure, Maddy and Anyon took three wickets in four overs and the fielding has been sharp.

It is a good, fast track with a bit of pace in it for the bowlers but also decent for strokeplaying. And the Bears' batting order, of course, owes the supporters a big one after last Monday...

Brian I will bring goodies tomorrow, what do you fancy, cheese cake or fruit cake. I am waiting to hear what Phil and Clive want.

That's very kind of you Jane. Anything healthy would be very welcome.

It will have to be a banana then can't say cheese cake and fruit cake fit the bill.So better not sit too close to Phil and Clive.
