The charge is on
Nottinghamshire 62 for 4 (13.1 overs). Patel 0, Read 0.
Tahir, ever a wicket-taking bowler, bowls Voges off an inside edge and the batsman goes for 1. Tahir (7-1-30-2) is making a strong case for a championship return against Middlesex on Wednesday.
Carter then powers a superb inswinging yorker through Wagh to bowl him for 18.
Two new batsmen at the crease. Game on.

at least this year the whites in the club shop are really white.
Regarding the poor batting, I agree the Carter should drop down the order but why not play Frost as a batsman? He made it look easy on Friday at Stormont. Powell should bat higher up the order too as long as he's banned from playing the reverse sweep. I don't think Parker is going to cut it at this level.
I agree. Frost's appetite for the game appears to be back so he knuckles down every time he goes in. Play him as a batsman and also give Johnson a run in the team to get him comfortable at first-team level.
