Just 1.5 overs were discharged this morning before rain sent the players from the field. Leicestershire did not advance from their overnight 125 for 1.
The sun is now out again, as are the players, after a 25-minute stoppage.
We understand that no deal exists at the moment. So, with further showers forecast, barring an extraordinary collapse from Leicestershire or an adventurous impulse shared by the captains the final day is likely to be less than scintillating.

Can you explain why Salisbury cathedral is not bowling thus far?
No! Zondeki and Carter have plugged away and the former has just been replaced by Anyon. I spoke to Salisbury at length the other day (what a nice chap he seems, by the way) and he says he just wants to get bowling and get some rhythm. I'd have thought this is a gilt-edged opportunity!
