Warwickshire 255 for 5 (86 overs). Ambrose 75, Botha 1.
Trott leans forward and nicks a good one from Du Preez to the wicket keeper to perish for a fine 82 from 179 balls, seven of which he propelled to the boundary.
Ambrose batting very well.
The new ball has done a bit which will encourage the Bears. Any total in excess of 350 would be powerful, although all the rain-damage to this match means someone will have to bowl very well indeed to avert a draw.
Warwickshire 217 for 4 (80 overs). Trott 67, Ambrose 55.
These two have resumed with the same solid, measured batting that they have shown throughout this partnership.
Worthy work, if rather slow. Having come together at 5.22pm on Tuesday they have so far added 115 in 42 hours, 39 minutes.
Leicestershire have just taken the new ball, the first ball of which, from Kruger, was pinged to the point boundary by Trott.
Warwickshire's players are indulging in quite an energetic game of touch rugby on half of the field on the pavilion side of the ground. They are moving about the grass quite quickly, twisting and turning on it, that sort of thing.
The sun is shining.
Play will not begin at 11am. It will begin at 11.30am.
Dear oh dear.
I MUST not chunter.
