The beleaguered Bears have bowled well and without luck, not least Tahir who has 1 for 16 from 10 overs. But against a depleted bowling attack, Middlesex must regard this as a golden opportunity to get their season going.

There's no doubt about it, Warwickshire desperately need to dig deep, show some grit, roll their sleeves up, pull their socks up and get their finger out. Preferably, all at once.
