Middlesex really have handed away some wickets on a plate today and none more so than that of Scott who was growing in confidence and had just lifted Botha for four to move to 17 when he embarked on a single that Joyce did not agree was there and was run out by miles as Westwood lobbed the ball to the bowler Salisbury.

Joyce has just lifted Botha staight for four. Botha and Salisbury together so far 25 overs no wicket for 89. Bit early in the match for spinners, of course.
