Should I cool it or should I blow?

Worcestershire 206 for 2 (56 overs). Solanki 105, Kabir 24.

Solanki reached his 100 from 162 balls with his 17th four, flicked fown the leg-side from a poor delivery from Daggett. Botha is on.

55 for 0 in the first hour today. There has just been a long delay as Warwickshire try to convince the umpires to change the ball. This can, of course, in certain circumstances, be a sign of desperation. First ball after the delay, Solanki thrashes Daggett to the point boudary.

Shame about Wrexham getting relegated. Always rather liked them. Warwickshire's problems, meanwhile, increase with news that Boyd Rankin has a shoulder injury (a new problem) and will have a scan on it.

They're my local club. Their exkeeper, Dai Davies, lives near me. He's a faith healer or something now.

Looks like I'll be visiting him a few times this season.

If I remember rightly, Dai Davies lost a tooth or two during his illustrious playing career.

Keep up to date
