Good morning ladies and gentleman. It's bright and cold at Edgbaston, the sun is out and play will begin on time.
I was intrigued to learn yesterday that Richard O'Sullivan resides in a home for retired actors. A stange concept. Do they all go round the complex all day acting and rehearsing and reliving former glories?
I mean you don't get homes for former window cleaners or former plumbers or former newsagents do you?

We think Hick's six might have been in the first over after lunch - when the press box is, er, not at its most attentive...
