Neck

By Brian Halford on Apr 17, 08 11:56 AM

Warwickshire 90 for 4 (26 overs). Trott 28, Poonia 22.

Worcestershire are a bowler light after Simon Jones woke up with a stiff neck this morning. He is unlikely to participate today.

Trott is going a score a stack of runs this season.

Poonia settling well.

What's a sore next?

And while we're on the subject of Simon Jones, I was watching the 2005 Ashes highlights last night and he was immense.

Brian, do you think England needs a FIT (he is the cricket version of Bryan Robson) Simon Jones if we are to retain the Ashes next year?

'Sore next'? Don't know what you are talking about, Jonty (hem hem).
It would be great to have Simon Jones fit enough to play in the Ashes next summer. Sadly I think there's more chance of Simon Callow making the team.

Or Ian Bell scoring more Test runs than your favourite cricketer Kevin Pietersen.

By the way what's Kevin Pietersen's favourite song of all time?

I'll give you a clue. A well-known Swedish band sang it!

Well done - you didn't even need the belated clue.

Any other suggestions out there for Brian's favourite cricketer

How about 'I Love Myself' by some 90s band I can't remember.
