Fantastic news and not so fantastic news
Lunch: Worcestershire 261 for 4 (672 overs). Solanki 118, Hick 9.
The fantastic news is that The Bears have taken two wickets, Kabir Ali, lbw sweeping at Botha for 44, and Ben Smith who wandered down to the wicket to the spinner and was stumped - the first such dismissal for the Bears since 2006.
The not so fantastic news is that Boyd Rankin has reported a new injury. He has a sore shoulder which will be the subject of a scan soon. It appears that Rankin's history of injury trouble is far from over.

In a strange way it might be good to get a loss in early, puncture the silly optimism that we are going to be strong contenders for promotion and then get on with just playing some cricket. In division 2 we will not be looking over our shoulders this season, so what we really need is to get back to playing some decent cricket and maybe take some of the pressure of expectations off. If that isn't looking for the silver lining I don't know what is!
Nice to see its not just me that gets confused with this interface and posts the same thing twice!! ;)
Not one stumping last season? What a spin attack we must have had. At least Botha's taken a couple.
