Macedonian Comics Competition
A COMIC strip competition to be held at the 8th Showroom Veles 2010 in Macedonia welcomes international entries.
The competition is being held by the Comic Centre for Macedonia and the rules for entering are as follows:
1 - Entries are to be 1 to 6 pages long, in A4 format (21 x 29.7cm).
2 - Entries can be sent by email (300dpi) or by post (only send good copies as work cannot be returned).
3 - Lettering can be in Macedonian, Queen's English, or designated European languages (see website for full information.
4 - There is to be only one entry per person. That person should state what part of the creation they have been involved with.
5 - Participants should send a photograph, brief biography and full contact details, along with the year when the strip was done.
All comics strips submitted will be represented properly and be exhibited as part of the Showroom in Veles, alongside possible other promotions. The best comic works will be selected by a jury of three members, with assorted diplomas rewarded to the various winners.
The deadline for entries is 25th September 2010.
