The Goon Gets Animated

THE GOON is currently in development as an animated movie.

The Goon is creator Eric Powell's tale of ghosts, ghouls, mad scientists, adventuring dare-do and an unnatural hunger for pie

Since 1995 Powell has also worked on such comics as Bufffy the Vampire Slayer, The Incredible Hulk, MAD Magazine, Swamp Thing, The Simpsons and Action Comics for various US publishers.

The Goon was first published at Avatar Comics, then self-published by Powell himself before being handled by Dark Horse Comics in America and has become a dark comedy modern cult classic.

It is through Dark Horse Entertainment that Powell has been working in collaboration with acclaimed director David Fincher and Blur Animation to bring The Goon to life as an animated feature film.
