Dr Who Collections at IDW

AMERICAN PUBLISHER IDW is bringing out two Dr Who books.

First off is a Dr Who Volume 1: Fugitive, a trade paperback collection of the regular US version of the series written by former Birmingham resident Tony Lee with art by Coventry-based Al Davison and Matthew Dow Smith.

Also due is the IDW Doctor Who Annual. American annuals tend to have a larger page count and come out in summer rather than the UK's hardbound large sized winter variety. Davison has written his own story for this book and also features Tony Lee, Matthew Dow Smith, Jonathan L Davis, Kelly Yates, Phil Elliot, Charlie Kirchoff, Neil Uyetake & Robbie Robbins.

In further Al Davison related news the creator is featured within the forthcoming House of Mystery collection from DC/Vertigo, has his Hokusai Demon due out in August and will be at Caption 2010 at the end of this month.
