'A Nightmare on the Town' to be a Movie
GERMAN WRITER Josef Rother has written and translated comic books for his native country and has his work appear abroad, often in Heavy Metal Magazine, and one of those strips is being turned into a movie.
Jordan Paley, a student at Tom Savini's Digital Film Programme is currently shooting a werewolf biker movie based on A Nightmare on the Town that appeared back in the September 2003 issue of Heavy Metal.
To the left is a page from the original comic strip and Josef commented, "The artwork is by the amazing Klaus Scherwinski who is currently drawing Transformers and GI Joe stories at IDW."

Hey, so apparently you'd written an article on my adaptation of Josef's comic. The film's not quite finished, as I had to work simultaneously on a vampire webseries "Here There Be Monsters" that can be seen on Fangoria.com, but I'm really happy with where it's at. I just need to finish sound work and record a score and we'll hopefully see the film released sometime in the next year.
Thanks a ton for the good press though, wish I'd seen it earlier.
