Spider-Man DVDs feature Simon Williams art
WELSH COMIC artist Simon Williams has been producing cover and DVD artwork for Clear Vision's new line of Marvel Comics DVDs.
Two volumes of the classic X-Men animated series from the 90s are already available featuring artwork by Simon Williams and Volume 1 of the same decade's Spider-Man animated show is now out featuring cover and DVD artwork by Simon with the legendary Joe Rubinstein supplying inks.
Volume 1 features every episode from Season 1 of the TV series, and includes the animated adaptation of the classic "alien costume saga" introducing both the black costume, and possibly Spider-man's most twisted foe, Venom. Volume 2 goes on sale August 3rd, with Seasons 4 and 5 to follow shortly afterwards (all featuring artwork by Willams and Rubinstein).
Before that, July 27th sees the release of the Spider-Woman DVD. This again features cover artwork by Simon and Joe, plus every episode of the 1979 cartoon show, including a guest appearance from Spider-Man.
