It's getting serious
With just 10-weeks to go until the big day I can finally say the training is beginning to pay off.
Yesterday I did a 10.5 mile run in 90 minutes and managed to up my pace in the middle four miles so that I was running an average of eight minute miles.
And in swimming, which I've been doing while my knee has been injured, I can now swim 2.5km in an hour with 85 out of the hundred lenghts being front crawl.
To put that into context - I could only do two consectuive lenghts at a time without needing a rest this time 10 weeks ago.
And if you had asked me to run 10 miles this time in June I would have laughed in your face.
So, for people reading this who haven't got their arses in to gear yet - there's still plenty of time. But this is the moment to get motivated.
