No bull from the Bull Ring

A few weeks ago I blogged about a particularly unpleasant example of racism I witnessed at the Bull Ring open markets.

Since then, I've been contacted by phone and over the net by several people connected with the markets who wanted to express their apologies and register their concern.

I'm impressed and delighted by their action, which has helped to reinforce my original belief that the incident I saw was isolated and unusual.

Certainly, it's not stopped me shopping at the markets. They're one of Birmingham's treasures.
