Mr XX (name)

Sometimes PRs don't help their own cause.

A news release from a national chain, emailed to me today, includes a paragraph that starts: "Local restaurant Manager, XX (name), said ...."

Either the restaurant manager has got a very strange name or someone somewhere is sending out a string of emails to papers across the country without properly checking their content.
