Lunchtime escape

By Paul Fulford on September 6, 2008 12:14 PM |

It was one of those rare days yesterday when I managed to get ahead of myself at work so I could go for a long lunch.

The Bucklemaker celebrates its 21st anniversary soon and is a place I've enjoyed over the years, but it had dropped off my radar recently.

That's a shame because the food was tasty, the service friendly and the atmosphere more than suited to a good old chat and a tremendous amount of wine.

I really must make more of an effort toget out more at lunchtime

I didn't realise Nigella had an older sister. Are you a better cook?
