Smokin'
Smoked apple tart...not something I'd recommend.
We're having a lot of work done to our kitchen and dust's everywhere. But what we didn't know was how much had found its way into the back of our cooker.
My wife baked an apple tart yesterday, but clouds of smoke billowed from the oven when she opened the door.
She pressed on, but the confection that emerged was smokier than a chain-smoking smoker's ashtray.
Which was a pity because the tart she cooks is usually excellent.
Shame we hadn't been cooking fish.
