Andy Waters' new restaurant

By Paul Fulford on Jun 11, 08 03:56 PM

Edmunds, the new restaurant being opened in Brindleyplace by Michelin star winning chef Andy Waters, looks like it will soon be up and running.

I walked past the site yesterday and work seems to be nearly complete.

It's just behind Cielo, where Andy currently acts as a consultant chef, a role he will continue even after Edmunds opens.

When he had a restaurant of that name in Henley in Arden, the cuisine was very impressive so I'm looking forward to the new venture with excitement.

Fantastic restaurant, stunning food and top class service. One of Birminghams finest restaurants.

I've heard nothing but good things about the place - even from my French neighbour...and you know how sniffy the French can be about British food!

Glad you enjoyed Edmunds, David. Fingers frossed it gets a Michelin star in the guide soon (though I know Andy thinks he may have opened too late to qualify this time round).
