Three curry heaven

Three curries in two days: is this a record for someone not fom the Indian sub-continent?

My spice binge included one restaurant meal then two meals at the homes of friends, one from Bangla Desh and the other from Sri Lanka. The style of all three were hugely different and emphasised to me that to say you're "going for a curry" is about a meaningless as to say you're "going for a European".

It also reminded me how much poorer our food scene would be without its diversity - though today my stomach cries out for plain and simple fare.

ah but just think how much richer the Premier League will be now that the Blues have been relegated.
Up the Baggies

Not sure of the connection between curries and the Albion, Aardvark. Unless it's that curries are, like the Baggies team, relatively cheap.
But a question to all you Black Country folk: does anywhere serve that legendary dish Groaty Pudding (or Groaty Dick, as it's sometimes called)?

Paul can you recommend a good indian restaurant in the Stircley area of Birmingham?

Hi Mandy. I've eaten at the Masalla Merchant and Spice Exchange, both on Pershore Road in Stirchley, and remember I enjoyed both meals, though it was some time ago I visited.
Alternatively, Moseley's very nearby where there's Kababish, Deolali and K2.
Enjoy your curry!
