Playing their part

Congratulations to Cielo and Andy Waters for the awards they won at the Best of Broad Street bash this week - Cielo for best restaurant, Andy for best chef.

Likewise congratulations to the other individuals and establishments recognised at the event at the ICC.

It was an enjoyable and lively night. I'm usually underwhelmed by the standard of meals at big events such as this, but have to say the food here was good. The kitchen at the ICC carries a big responsibility, catering for visiting movers and shakers who I would like to think leave with a good impression of Birmingham. On this evidence, the ICC's chefs (and serving staff) are playing their part.
