Head case

The travelling French deli, off the road for several weeks after his van conked out, appeared back outside my house last weekend in a bright new vehicle.

I'd already bought the food I needed, but still bought some coarse pate that was good and garlicky. He's promised to bring me a chunk of tete de veau tomorrow. It's something I've not eaten for probably a decade and I'm looking forward to sampling it again.

We're altogether too squeamish about eating certains cuts of meat and offal. Not to mention too fussy about what beasts we eat. Bring it on!
