Golden day

Bacon butties for my closest colleagues, biscuits for the rest of the office and a couple of lunchtime pints of bitter at the Queen's Head with three of my workmates/drinking buddies....the ritual of a birthday.

What a civilised way to spend a Friday. Trouble is, it means I'm another year older.

The real treat comes tonight when I eat with my family at Simpson's. Thank goodness Denman romped to success in this afternoon's Gold Cup - my winnings will help meet some of the dosh I've been spending today.
