September 2009 Archives

Well I may have got struck down by the lergy, and not got as much footage as I liked, but I had an awesome day out at Silverstone, and the ride their and back will stay with me for a long time!!

Check out some behind the scenes footage of me in the Worx Crescent Suzuki garage, trying to sound like I know what I am talking about to one of the team principles!

If you’re tempted by the trigger happy grin machine that is Yamaha R6, here are some insurance quotes for you from my lovely sponsors Express Insurance!

I had to take the Yamaha R6 back to Streetbike for someone to test ride it,

so I busted out the new on board camera to give it a try, and I bump into a young lady who has just had an awesome birthday surprise!!

In part two I return on my new steed for the night, the Suzuki Bandit 650 SA!

Wednesday 23/9/09 – Yamaha R6

By Luke Wilkins on Sep 24, 09 03:47 PM

So then, after riding the ‘08 version of this crotch rocket for almost a year, its time for me to get to grips the ‘09 Yamaha R6 from the lovely guys and gals at Streetbike

.and oh what a bike!

So today I took delivery of two new bikes, the lightning quick Yamaha R6 from Streetbike, and the easy to ride Honda CBF600 from Brindley Honda, here’s me picking them both up and getting a run down on the bikes from the dealers themselves.

Time to take out this glorious retro muscle bike the Honda CB1300S

..although something seems to be missing

Lee from Brindley Honda brings round my new bike, the Honda CB1000R!

My final impressions on this amazing bike!

Here are some insurance quotes from beloved sponsors Express Insurance, and tomorrow I shall be taking delivery of a new Honda CB1000RR!
