ANOTHER BRUM EXCLUSIVE
THERE was a very good turn out last night for our regional premiere of The Day The Earth Stood Still (12A) at Cineworld Broad Street, Birmingham.
Many thanks to the cinema and to Twentieth Century Fox for helping to organise it on behalf of our readers who entered our competition to see it first and for free.
All we had to do was to wait for the world premiere to start in LA and then we were ready to roll with one of only two authorised UK screenings.
There are more details in today's Birmingham Mail.
And I'll be reviewing Keanu Reeves' new film in Friday's paper, the day that it opens.
