The £7 billion cost of being under budget . . .

Does Tessa Jowell think we all have the memory of senile goldfish or is she just abysmal at maths.

She keeps droning on on TV that the Olympics has come in under budget. Her budget, the one that won the bid was £2.4 billion. The current budget is £9.35 million . . . and we have not got there yet!

If that is under-budget it gives you some inkling of how that lot at Westminster, of whatever party, got us into the mess we are in.
