Welcome to the party

Remember the late Screaming Lord Sutch and his Official Monster Raving Loony Party? He proposed putting Parliament on wheels and moving it around the country and yesterday Gordon and friends (at least friends for the time being at any rate) brought their caravan to Brum to have a cabinet meeting and, as the spin doctors would have it, engage the people (specially vetted and selected of course).

Sutch also considered changing the name of his part to the Official Monster Raving Sensible Party in the time of Lady Thatcher on the simple grounds that in comparison with her and her ministers he and his supporters could hardly be seen as loony at all. Some things never change.
