Practice makes perfect
Today, I'm looking after my nine-month-old niece, also known as Little Miss Speedy Crawler.
The transition from just sitting there looking angelic to vanishing with a cheeky glint in her eyes took place overnight.
With a 34-week bump, I figured if I just lie on the floor ready, I can crawl after her, rather than keep bending down to retrieve her from the dog bed or bin.
Today will also be excellent practice for me.
After all, how hard can looking after a baby be...?
