November 2011 Archives
I know I am just a few days shy of week 38, but I am getting so anxious and excited to meet little Sprout that I can't help but wish he or she would make a grand entrance RIGHT NOW.
I keep looking for signs of labour, but nothing much seems to be happening.
Brother Max - 3 in 1 Digital Thermometer

Mamas & Papas
This funky-shaped thermometer gives an accurate reading in just one second.
It takes the temperature in three ways - ear, forehead or room.
Nuby Mini Microwave Steriliser
£9.99
Boots or www.nuby-uk.com
The size of this mini microwave steriliser makes it perfect for families who like to travel.
It takes up to two bottles and sterilises them in just five minutes.
My little Sprout
You are all I can think about these days. I'm sure I must be a complete bore to anyone who I talk to, because I just can't seem to focus on anything but you.
I know that all too soon our lives will change dramatically. The cord that has connected us for these nine long months will be cut, signaling the start of the bond between a mummy and her baby.
Bassinet Travel Cot
£119.99
Babies R Us
A travel cot is an essential for when on holiday or visiting friends, and this cute sheep design is perfect.
Compact, easy to unlock (no trapped fingers for me, and I'm a complete novice) and in a funky unisex design.
Tinga Tinga Tales Collectable Figure Set
Around £10
www.bandai.co.uk, Amazon or Tesco
Anyone with small children addicted to CBeebies can't have failed to notice Tinga Tinga Tales.

£60
Mothercare or www.amazon.co.uk
Due to its adjustable size, this 3-in-1 steriliser perfectly fits the items you would like to sterilise and takes up the least amount of kitchen space.
Even in its biggest size, due the the slim, space-saving shape, it is neatly stored when not in use. It's compact, yet surprising spacious.
My Favourite Things Soother
£3.49
Babies R Us
Love 'em or hate 'em, parents have been using dummies for years.
Babymule Changing Bag
£84
www.babymule.co.uk and www.amazon.co.uk
On the whole, changing bags are pretty girly.
But this one, with its ability to transform from a backpack to a messenger bag, is funky enough to class as 'manly'.
I have learned something about myself since I started my maternity leave.
I DO look funny when I walk.
I think I was in denial.
