How much is too much?
In a brave (some may say stupid) attempt to finish the garden before Sprout arrives, Mr D has this week embarked on an ambitious patio project.
And a front wall project. And a 'new step for the back door' project.
None of which are even remotely finished.
With pallets of bricks and tonnes of sand blocking the drive, my garden is beginning to look like a builders' merchants.
And don't get me started on the mess (with Barney running in and out all day, the kitchen floor looks remarkably similar to the drive).
I feel pretty useless just sitting here watching, so today I've been digging for rocks, mixing concrete (ooh, get me) and then prodding it into the foundations.
At 33 weeks tomorrow though, I'm wondering if I should maybe have stuck to just making tea and er, directing.
But how do I know if I'm doing too much?
