Hunger Control??

What the hell is a 'Hunger Control Formula'?? I've just seen an advert for yoghurt stating it has a formula that controls hunger.

I want to know WHO buys this rubbish? Surely to God a hunger control formula is just food? Don't we control hunger by eating? Who sits there thinking, "hmm.. I'm hungry. I need some kind of magical formula to take this feeling away."?

Okay, I get that what the company is trying to do is say that it keeps you fuller for longer by making a formulation of various ingredients. Isn't a tin of soup a formulation of various ingredients?

How can a food company try and sell more food by saying it makes people eat less?

Our nation has such a bizarre attitude to food and it's exacerbated by gimmicks just like this.
