Gaining an extra hour in bed..

..not if you've got a one year old child you don't. (Or an eight year old for that matter.)

Try explaining that it's actually 5am, and a completely inappropriate time to get up to a person who has no concept of time.

Only need to check the many status updates on facebook to see just how many parents have been entertaining little ones since the early hours.

It doesn't seem to matter how late this army of tiny people were kept up last night, they were all wide awake, bright eyed and bushy tailed at what would have been their usual getting up time.

Wonder how long it will take to get used to this new routine? Knowing The Kid, probably not till they go forward again on the 29th March 2009.
