Everyone's talking about...
In the playground today there was much talk about Taekwondo Charlie, so much so that I decided to have a look for myself. I've never really spent much time looking at clips from YouTube, but I have to admit this one is very funny, and has got a lot of people from all across town talking.
There was also much conversation about what everyone is doing over half term. I've spent the last seven weeks planning to do little else but sleep, but there is a lot of buzz around SportsFest. It sounds like a lot of fun, so we might go and have a look on Saturday.
If you do go into town on Saturday it's definitely worth going to see Clive Cole in the Centre for the Child in Central Library. He'll be there telling African stories as part of Black History Month. I've seen him working in schools before; he's an amazing story teller and great for children to watch.
There are also loads of things going on at the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery for the whole of half term, which are especially great as they are absolutely free.
With so many things going on across Birmingham there's bound to be something even I'd get out of bed for.
