Caught In Bed With Best Friend's Son!

I've just spent the evening baby sitting. You might think this is just swapping one set of kids for another, but I've actually had a nice relaxing evening! Had the pick of the fridge, choice of music, and two and a half hours to read, do nails and generally chill out.

Yes, until about twenty minutes before mom and dad arrived home the household was a quiet, happy sanctuary. It was about then the little man decided to wake up.

Getting caught in bed with my friend's son sounds like a headline that would sit more comfortably on the page of The Sun, but lying next to him on the bed in his room, or standing up cuddling him were the only ways he'd sleep!

What would you do? Have your mate walk in and there you are, in bed with the baby, or, she walks in to hear her child screaming away and you're sitting downstairs painting your nails? Either way doesn't paint a picture of an overly competent babysitter!

Much to my relief he eventually settled in his own cot. Parents had a good night, baby is happy and I shall be kept out of the tabloids tomorrow.
