FCUK Breastfeeding
I'm considering turning to the bottle - the formula bottle, that is. Breastfeeding is just so uncool.
Here's an example: Earlier today, I leaked milk in the queue at French Connection. Can you imagine anything more embarrassing?
One minute I was all excited by my size 12, non-maternity purchases. The next, I noticed the sales assistant (male, Toni & Guy haircut) looking in utter horror and incomprehension at my weeping chest.
With quiet dignity, I buttoned up my coat, replaced the clothes on the racks and bid a hasty retreat to Mothercare.
See, that's what no one tells you when they're blathering on about how it gives your baby antibodies and cuts the risk of ovarian cancer. Breastfeeding makes you leak milk. In trendy high street stores. In front of men with mullets.
It got me thinking, breastfeeding could do with an image revamp - something to make it cool. Formula feeding has Jordan as its unofficial spokesman, who's fronting the natural way?
Well, turns out, there are hundreds of cool celebrities who breastfeed and they're all celebrated at this here website - Mama Knows Breast.
Biggest surprise for me was the Dirty Girl herself Christina Aguilera. Who'd have thought it! I like to think she too has had a wet shirt situation - maybe whilst shopping for crotchless chaps down Rodeo Drive?

I'd imagine working in French Connection with a freakin mullet is slightly more embarassing.
At least leaking means you can remember which boob is next - better than a system of moving a band from one wrist to the next and then not being able to remember if you moved the band or not.
No such luck, my boobs leak in unison!
