The majesty of a 'Reckon'

By Faraz Yousufzai on Sep 21, 08 07:22 AM

Dear reader, please get an education in history or related discipline before you bless us with the full majesty of your unconsidered 'reckon', brought to us by the aimless beatings on a keyboard with your head and fists.

Reading the comments on these rather ancient blogs induces such a range of reactions Im not sure what to feel. But really...Get a life mr and mrs anonymous! Comparing Muslims to Nazis? No one is taking over our country.

Whatever happened to the traditional Liberal Education that put the Great in Britain and created the most successful country of the modern age?

Bring back Grammar, Logic and Rhetoric!

Hi :)
I read your blog for the first time today, and I like it for its clarity and coherence, qualities which seem to be lacking in most of the comments. I was shocked to read some of the responses to your posts (okay...maybe shocked isn't the right word, it's all been said before). 'For 3% muslims seem to cause an awful lot of the problems'. This kind of prejudice really makes my blood boil. People simply refuse to believe that any muslim could possibly function without being 'anti-Britain'. Anti Britain?! Don't flatter yourselves! We ARE British, and in the same way you deplore society's downfall 'at the hands of these muslims', we, the innocent majority, watch in horror as society deteriorates to a paranoid mass intent on sensationalising the biased rhetoric it is fed.

Welcome back. Found the comments after the BBC Radio 4 story on PVE funds in Birmingham and searching around.
