Our picture editor is a real dreamer!
A laugh-out-loud chuckle this morning.
Steve Murphy had filled in his 'Personal Development Review' form on screen, and it seems that the computer's 'spell guess' system had clicked into action.
Job title: Regional Imagine Editor (!)
His new title in the restructure is, of course, Regional Images Editor.
Wish him luck in his 1-1 later today...

knowing him I guess the computer did none of the work. Like most snappers he just can't spell!
Perhaps he "imagines" being the editor...watch your back Mr Dyson!!!
Maybe he has a side job as editor of a John Lennon fanzine and forgot which publication he was filling out his review for.
Or he probably just can't spell and should stick to pictures!!!!!
In fairness, Steve M can spell, and drives his staff to improve in this area. As to Michael's suggestion that he imagines being the editor, he'd make a good job of it! Seriously, Steve is a great photographer, story spotter, leader and manager.
Murf's not just imaginative, Steve - he's a credit to your paper. I hope you told him so! :)
