The moment you wished you'd worn fresh socks!
Just spent the early afternoon touring facilities at Birmingham International Airport with acting managing director Joe Kelly, looking around current facilities, short, medium and long-term expansion plans.
Going 'airside' I was subjected to a full body check, which involved taking off my shoes.
If I'd known, I'd have treated myself (and security staff) to fresh socks, not the ones that have been on me since 6am this morning.
What a job the security staff have to do. I mean, though towards the end of the day, my socks were at least alive this morning.
Just what kind of sights and stenches to these poor lasses and fellas have to put up with from travellers who might not have changed clothes for 48 hours?

Er, I'd prefer not to think about your feet!
