It felt good to be Brummie today
Good to see the Government buzzing around our fine city this weekend.
And don't you know they're here, with Broad Street efficiently sealed, uniforms at all points of entry and armed police all over The Rep roof.
With the sun out, the world's flags flying in Centenary Square, every hotel full to bursting, the ICC fully utilised and every Sunday politics TV show and bulletin 'live' from the city, it felt good to be a Brummie.

Your thoughts please
Yes it was great to be welcomed to the city over the tannoy at New Street. Oh hang on, that was only for those attending the conference and not the rest of us who have to go through the kak-hole that is New Street regularly.
And is it just me or does that chair at the top of your page look to comfortable for a man at the cutting edge of local journalism?
