Boing boing Baggies go to Wembley!!

WBA's victorious 5-1 passage to wembley for an FA Cup semi-final is music to my ears.

The match was played last night and, with Barnsley and Cardiff's collective giant-killing grabbing most coverage in the nationals, the Baggies was left for detailed cough-and-spit coverage in the Birmingham and Black Country Mail.

Our local team in the semis guaranteed them a deep boost on the Mail's page one, five pages of reports and analysis inside, a page of pictures of celebrating fans as well as a series of pre and post-match videos from our VJ team.

Football always sells newspapers... and brings multitudes of hits to websites.

So here's to more success for the Baggies v Portsmouth in early April, and hopefully to their first Cup victory since 1968.

With Chelsea and Man Utd out of the way, who knows?
